New Features: News Filtering By Tags and Portfolios
We're proud to announce some new features on the SPAC Research website.

Our news feed can now be filtered by individual event tags. Want to see only Deal Announcements? News items related to Additional Transaction Financing? How about Super 8-K's?

Play with the filters on the left navigation bar to refine the results to exactly what you're searching for.
We've also added a Portfolios feature where you can build watchlists of individual SPACs.
You can use the briefcase icons (shown below) on the main SPAC Index and many other pages to add SPACs to any of your portfolios.
You can also use our new Agenda View on the calendar page to see a list of upcoming events, which you can refine to only show events related to one of your portfolios.
And you can filter the news feed by items related to any of your portfolios as well.

Deal News

  • Denali Capital Acquisition Corp. (DECA) announced a deal to acquire Longevity Biomedical, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on advancing new technologies across therapeutics, health monitoring and digital health solutions to improve human health. The deal reflects an equity value of $236mm and is expected to close in Q2 2023.

  • DHC Acquisition Corp. (DHCA) terminated its business combination agreement with GloriFi because GloriFi announced it was winding down its operations and closing its digital banking platform and other products.

  • Jack Creek Investment Corp. (formerly JCIC) closed its acquisition of Bridger Aerospace on Tuesday 1/24/2023 with less than 1% of public shares remaining. Ordinary shares and warrants are now trading on the NASDAQ as “BAER” and “BAERW.”

  • Health Sciences Acquisitions Corporation 2 (formerly HSAQ) closed its acquisition of Orchestra BioMed on Thursday 1/26/2023. Redemption statistics were not provided. Ordinary shares are now trading on the NASDAQ as “OBIO.”

  • Gesher I Acquisition Corp. (formerly GIAC) closed its acquisition of Freightos on Wednesday 1/25/2023 with 11% of public shares remaining. Ordinary shares and warrants are now trading on the NASDAQ as “CRGO” and “CRGOW.”

  • BlueRiver Acquisition Corp. (BLUA) signed an LOI with an unspecified company in the medical technology sector. No timeline for a definitive agreement was given.

  • Insight Acquisition Corp. (INAQ) signed a LOI with Avila Energy Corporation (CSE: VIK), a licensed producer, explorer, and developer of energy in Canada. The transaction assumes an enterprise value of $185mm with no closing timeline given.

  • Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corporation IV (DCRD) shareholders approved the company’s acquisition of Hammerhead Resources at a meeting Monday 1/23/2023. Redemption statistics were not provided and no closing timeline was given.

  • Noble Rock Acquisition Corporation (NRAC) announced it will transfer its sponsor ownership, change its name, and update its board accordingly. The SPAC's new CEO will be Aemish Shah, the co-founder and managing partner of General Global Capital, a growth-stage tech investment firm.
